I want to start out by giving yous some advice this week; DON'T GO SEE "Homework," with Joan Collins. It was the worst piece of garbage I've ever seen. The film is currently playing at area theaters and stars Dynasty

Collins/Alexis. Britian's bad girl is a flop and let down in Homework as she seduces a 16 year old boy. The movie has no plot what so ever and I do not recommend it. The movie was made over 5 years ago and was released because backers felt they could cash in on Collins' fame. She was against release of the movie as well, but lost in the court battle. Collins also made two movies in England, "The Stud" and "The Bitch" several years back. Both which revealed Collins in the buff. Rumors have it that American buyers are trying to get distribution of those films here in the States.

Over the past few busy weeks, I have squeezed in some time for a little reading. (Yes, I do read). I got a kick out of a new book by Clark Henley called The Butch Manual, published by Seahorse Press. It sort of reminded me of Real Men Don't Eat Quiche. You know, real men sweat they don't perspire and real men read Drummer not GQ. And your fave color is live drab not party pink. It was a fun book out. Well worth reading, even for a laugh. There's also a new

book out on Marilyn Monroe by James Spada, published by Doubleday. It's a book that presents her life in pictures and captures great moments in Monroe's career. Truly a collectable item or perfect for Christmas giving. One other book worth mentioning is StreisandThrough the Lens, published by Deliah. This will have all Babs fans jumping for joy. The book is a variety of photos of Babs on and off the set. Another one worth picking up for you or a loved one.

The sky is the limit... and then some for blonde bombshell Dolly Parton. From singer to actress, she says its been a natural. evolution. And just in time for Christmas, Dolly is currently unveiling a new line of beauty products called "Everything Beautiful." Awwwww,

how sweet. In spring she hopes to hit Broadway. Nothing is definite yet, but there are plans for Dolly to star in a new Broadway show. Hush is the word for now though...

The plot thickens. . . 1 was recently told Liz Taylor asked Tony Geary to join her and ex Richard Burton when they reunite on Broadway in the play Private Lives. And there is still more whispering going on about having Liz back on GH this December.

President Reagan's son, Ronald Jr. has been. recently laid off from the Joffrey Ballet and is presently collecting unemployment benefits. Says Ronnie Jr., "There's no reason for me to go running to my folks for help. I'm eligible so I have no qualms about it." The Reagans offered their son support but Ron wants to

During this lay-off period, he and his wife Doria, who works for Warhol's Interview Magazine, are spending a lot of time together in their two-room apartment in Greenwich Village in New York. Last year, Ronnie Jr. was on second-string with the Joffrey and he made about $270 a week performing and $100 during rehearsals. This November though he is being promoted to the main company, which will show a raise on his first paycheck. Nel Carter recently collapsed on the set of the

show. NBC has shut down the set for one month to give the 32 year old star a much needed rest. She was rushed to Sinai Hospital, near Bev Hills and was released six hours later. Not much is being said but Nel has checked herself into a San Diego Hospital for a closer look into things. Get well Nel!
